Viavi Solutions today announced the appointment of Oleg Khaykin as its president and chief executive officer.
Oleg Khaykin will replace interim president and CEO Richard E. Belluzzo, who will continue as chairman of the Board of Directors.
Prior to joining Viavi, Oleg Khaykin was a senior advisor with Silver Lake Partners; president and CEO of International Rectifier from 2008 until its acquisition by Infineon in the January of 2015; chief operating officer of Amkor Technology and vice president of Strategy & Business Development at Conexant Systems.
Viavi Solutions said its revenue rose 2.5 percent to $232.1 million in Q2 fiscal 2016.
Viavi generated $254 million from network enablement, $84.8 million from service Enablement and $123 million from optical security and performance products in the six months.
Viavi Solutions generated 52.2 percent revenue from Americas, 18.2 percent from Asia Pacific and 29.6 percent from EMEA customers during the quarter.
