Mitel has integrated Nuance’s Dragon Voicemail to Text service with its NuPoint
Unified Messaging (UM) platform
The Dragon Voicemail to Text service is powering the new
Speech to Text service for Mitel’s integrated messaging solution.
The Dragon Voicemail to Text platform allows us to
quickly deliver accurately transcribed voice messages to email, and ultimately
empower the mobile workforce to reply and communicate with clients, prospects,
and colleagues faster, and from anywhere,” said Tim Kostyniuk, vice president

With new Speech to Text service, Mitel’s NuPoint UM
platform has enabled enterprises all over the world to stay connected beyond
the confines of the desk and traditional voicemail systems.
The NuPoint UM platform keeps voice messages organized
with a flexible voicemail service that sends all messages and notifications
directly to email on PCs and mobile phones.
With new powered feature, the NuPoint Um platform allows
each transcribed voice message to include the full audio file as an attachment.
Furthermore, the platform puts the Caller ID in the
subject line when available, enabling users quickly and read, responds to and
manages voice messages without interrupting their current activity.

Nuance to power U.S. Cellular voice mail to text service
In February, U.S. Cellular and Nuance Communications
announced the launch of U.S. Cellular’s new voice mail to text service, powered
by Nuance’s fully-automated Dragon Voicemail-to-Text platform.
