Netcracker acquires CoralTree Systems

Netcracker Technology, a part of NEC Corporation, has completed the acquisition of CoralTree Systems, a provider of converged solutions for the European telecom service providers.

The acquisition of CoralTree Systems will strengthen Netcracker’s products for service provider customers.

“CoralTree’s workforce and technology toolsets perfectly complement Netcracker’s own assets and the combination of these two companies will deepen our relationships with customers around the world,” said Andrew Feinberg, president and CEO of Netcracker Technology.

The acquisition will shift all technology solutions and resources in systems integration, business operations support and other professional services to Netcracker.

The solutions mainly comprise of technology assets in video activation, BSS and OSS which will go well with the Netcracker solution portfolio.

Netcracker, which has seen an upside in terms of revenue growth for the past six quarters, has been implementing large-scale transformation projects to convert universal operators to digital service providers.

CoralTree Systems is executing large projects in Video, BSS and OSS domains for European cable operators, service providers and enterprises.

“Netcracker has recognized the need to deliver a full suite of capabilities to help its customers transform, and the acquisition of CoralTree will complement its ability to help service providers become digital service providers,” said Clare McCarthy, practice leader Service Provider Technology, Ovum.
