Nestle Nespresso enhances coffee machine service with Orange M2M solution

By Telecom Lead Team: Nespresso Business Solutions is enhancing its B2B coffee machine after-sales service maintenance with a machine-to-machine (M2M) solution from Orange Business Services.

Additionally, Nespresso has launched two B2B machine models – Aguila and Zenius, the connected tabletop coffee machines.

The newly unveiled B2B models use embedded SIM cards from Orange that enable the machines to communicate with the NespressoCustomer Relationship Centres, which assists in remote machine diagnostic.

Nespresso Business Solutions added that Orange Business Services was chosen to provide this M2M solution based on its global capabilities, its local Swiss team presence and M2M expertise, and the customized solution that includes global data security measures required by Nespresso.

Orange leveraged the solution together with its International M2M Center, a global leader in borderless global M2M connectivity.

Orange Business Services is a branch of France Telecom-Orange dedicated to B2B services. It is a global integrator of communications solutions for multinational corporations.

Recently,Sprint tied up with Orange Business Services to provide Sprint with global machine-to-machine (M2M) connectivity outside the U.S.

Through the collaboration, Sprint will expand its M2M reach to include Sprint-branded global M2M connectivity to 180 countries.
