At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014, Jasper Wireless announced its IoT and machine-to-machine (M2M) services deal with Telenor Connexion.
Telenor Connexion has selected the cloud-based Jasper Platform, designed for enterprises making the transition to connected businesses. More than 2500 enterprises have standardized on the Jasper platform across 15 mobile operator groups worldwide.
“As our global customer base grows so we are always looking for new ways to help our enterprise customers realize the value in connected services. Our existing global quality of service and managed connectivity offering is now complemented by the benefits of the Jasper platform,” said Per Simonsen, CEO, Telenor Connexion.
Ken Laversin, global vice president, Sales at Jasper, said: “Vertical markets such as the automotive industry are being transformed by IoT service innovations like Connected Car. However, for enterprises, this means they are demanding a global platform that can scale across their business and manage the operational processes such as service provisioning, diagnostics and auditing across all their international markets.”
Telenor Connexion joins a growing list of other Jasper operator partners including AT&T, América Movil, NTT DOCOMO, Telefonica, VimpelCom, KPN, SingTel, Etisalat, Telstra, Rogers, CSL and more.
