Telecom Lead India: In a bid to strengthen the expansion
strategy of the company in the circle, MTS India has appointed Aravind
Santhanam as chief operating officer for Tamil Nadu Circle.
Aravind will be reporting Cheenu Seshadri, chief
operating officer, South & West Regions at MTS India.
Aravind has been associated with leading Telecom and
FMCG companies for the last 22 years. I believe his extensive experience and
expertise will help further expand our business in Tamil Nadu and drive towards
leadership in the data business,” said Cheenu Seshadri.
MTS India has adopted a regional operating
structure in view of the company’s rapidly expanding voice and data services
across the country.
The company believes that the structure will enable
faster decision making and ensure execution of the company’s data centric-
voice enabled strategy.
While speaking on his appointment as a COO for the
Tamil Nadu Circle, Aravind Santhanam said, Tamil Nadu is an important market
and I am looking forward to this new role in further strengthening MTS’
presence in the region by providing innovative products and value for money
propositions to our customers”.
