Motorola Mobility India team joins global colleagues to volunteer during global services week

More than 200 employees of Motorola Mobility, volunteered
in India during the company’s first global community service program. The
Global Week of Service will engage nearly 2,700 Motorola employees in 23
countries the week of 18 to 22 October
and will
include volunteer projects focused on building stronger communities.


The Global Week of Service will provide a cross-section of opportunities
for communities to benefit from critical technology programs, health and
wellness education, environmental stewardship and timely natural-disaster
support among others.

and help organizations like the Concern India Foundation, Literacy India,
Little Sisters of the Poor, and Restless Development build awareness about our
environment, improve general health and hygiene among children and spark an
interest about science and engineering among students,” said Kiran Gadi,

To keep its environment green, Motorola volunteers worked at the
Bangalore’s Doddenkundi Lake to help clean weeds, level the area and plant
saplings.


During The Global Week of Service employees from Motorola
Mobility’s Bangalore, Chennai, Gurgaon, Hyderabad and Pune offices spread green
and cheer among children. Another team of Motorola volunteers helped -green’ a
home for the aged gardening, weeding, re-planting, lawn-mowing, watering plants
and more.
