Microsoft unveils Dynamics AX 2012 in Latin America


Microsoft Business Solutions announced that Microsoft
Dynamics AX 2012 is now available to customers across the Latin American region
with the exception of Brazil.


Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 is meant for companies between
200 and 7,500 employees. It is well-fitted for businesses in Latin America and
serves as a highly scalable and cost-effective solution to manage their
operations and help them develop and maintain a competitive edge, while
leveraging their legacy investment.


The solution is simple to use and offers seamless
information sharing with Microsoft Office and Microsoft SharePoint. Its agility
allows enterprises to manage organizational structures and implement changes in
an efficient and quick way.


Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 helps companies be more
agile, simplify decision-making and succeed in any environment,” said Kirill
Tatarinov, president, Microsoft Business Solutions.

The flexible architecture of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012,
which includes built-in capabilities for multiple industries and geographic

experiences to fulfill the shifting needs of their business, no matter how
complex the organization.


Windows Azure-based cloud services, such as Rapid Start,
Site, Payment and Commerce services, are directly accessible from within
Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, companies can immediately realize the benefits of
public cloud services from within their private cloud or on-premises
deployment.


In the 12 months ending in December, 2010, Microsoft
grew 30.5 percent in revenue in the ERP market in Latin America, growing
at twice the speed of the market average and outpacing the largest world-class
players in terms of market growth,” said Ricardo Villate, vice president for
market consultancy firm, IDC Latin America.
