Line messaging app names Damandeep Singh as head of India biz development

Free call and messaging app vendor Line has appointed Damandeep Singh Soni as head of India Business Development.

Damandeep will be responsible for enhancing the brand’s offer to consumers in India. He will lead the brand’s focus in developing partnerships and unique offerings for the market that will attract and retain users for LINE.

Line messaging app has achieved 15 million users by December 2013. Recently, Line appointed film actress Katrina Kaif as brand ambassador in India.

Damandeep Singh Soni

In the past, he headed the telecom business development for Infosys in the U.K. and shepherded aggressive sales program for Nokia in North Indian states.

Damandeep also co-founded PK Online Ventures in his previous assignment apart from heading AdChakra Network.
