Keysight Technologies announced its 5G test equipment deal with China Mobile, the largest telecom operator in the world.
China Mobile will use Keysight’s 5G test solutions to validate new 5G mobile devices, base stations as well as the 5G core network.
“Keysight is partnering early with market makers to launch 5G end-to-end test and measurement solutions, enabling global mobile ecosystems to accelerate 5G product design development and validation from Layer 1 to 7 and across the entire workflow,”Cao Peng, senior director of Keysight’s Commercial Communications group, said.
Keysight’s 5G Testbed enables base station makers and telecom service providers to analyze 5G NR signals based on the latest 3GPP standard.
The test and measurement company said that the testbed supports Keysight’s 5G NR software solutions, including Signal Studio Pro for 5G NR and X-Series Measurement Applications for flexible wideband signal creation and analysis.
