K M Group to select DTI Cloud

 

Digital
Technology International (DTI) announced that KM Group will be its first
European Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) customer. KM Group is one of the largest
independent newspaper publishers in the United Kingdom which has evolved into a
multimedia company with more than 25 products across print, radio and online.

DTI’s
full range of innovative publishing solutions will be accessed by 350 users at
the KM Group through DTI Cloud, its high performance cloud publishing platform.

Having
our DTI solutions in DTI Cloud was a strategically important decision for us.
We believe DTI Cloud offers an effective and strong business model,” said
Duncan Gray, operations director, KM Group.

The
signing marks DTI’s http://www.dtint.com first full-suite European cloud
agreement since the expansion of DTI Cloud to its high-speed data centre in
Central Europe.

The
KM Group project will begin immediately and involve four phases of
implementation that are scheduled into early 2012. DTI solutions that are being
deployed include DTI ContentPublisher, DTI Lightning, DTI Circulation, and DTI
Advertising.

DTI
Cloud fulfilled KM Group’s requirement of superior performance, tier-4 security
and guaranteed uptime. The secure and highly redundant data centre has abundant
bandwidth and the highest level of network availability in the industry.

ContentPublisher, KM Group will be able to publish news content to the Web

DTI
Cloud will enable KM Group to compete more effectively for audience and revenue
because they will always have the latest version of DTI software with the
newest market-driven features. This eliminates the need for costly and
time-consuming upgrades associated with conventional on-premises systems.
