Juniper Networks to offer secure mobility solutions with Samsung

Juniper Networks announced it is expanding its association with Samsung
to offer mobile security, secure connectivity and device management
capabilities for enterprise customers of Samsung smart mobile devices.

Juniper and Samsung will collaborate to offer enhanced secure mobility
solutions that enable enterprises and service providers to protect mobile
devices as well as the network resources and applications they access in
today’s mobile enterprise environment.

“Our partnership with a major mobile device manufacturer, such as
Samsung, enables us to jointly deliver on critical and innovative functionality
enabling the highest value for our joint customers,” said Sanjay Beri,
vice president and general manager, Junos Pulse Business Unit, Juniper Networks.

“Juniper and Samsung are committed to a partnership wherein the two
companies will continue to deliver secure, business-ready solutions enhancing
security posture for enterprises and enabling new differentiated offerings for
service providers,” Beri added.

The strategic partnership builds on existing efforts to provide Juniper
Networks Junos Pulse and Junos Pulse Mobile Security Suite full line of
features and services on select Samsung mobile devices, enabling reliable,
secure mobile remote access, application and threat protection, and mobile
device management and control.

The latest version of Junos Pulse Mobile Security Suite includes the
ability to automatically remove malicious applications from Samsung GALAXY
Note, GALAXY SII and GALAXY Tab 10.1.

End users benefit from simplified access to security solutions, enhanced
mobility experience and productivity. Enterprises will be able to protect any
of the current and future supported Samsung devices, while also preserving the
security and integrity of their data, network and resources.

The solution also benefits service providers who can now quickly roll
out a range of value-added business class services with the Samsung GALAXY
mobile devices.

“We are delighted to partner with Juniper Networks using their
Junos Pulse technology as they understand the needs of consumers and enterprise
IT leaders in an increasingly mobile world that requires mobile security and
device management,” said Jongshin Kim, vice president of Media Solution
Center at Samsung Electronics.

Recently, AT&T partnered with juniper to provide a new mobile security platform. It will allow customers to better protect their
devices against security threats.
