JDSU collaborates with DAX and NetSocket, selects them as PacketPortal application partners

Telecom Lead America: Test and measurement major
JDSU has announced partnerships with DAX Technologies
Corp and NetSocket. The company as selected both companies as
PacketPortal application partners.

The partnering relationships allow customers to use the
combination of PacketPortal and partner applications to improve customer
experience.

 

DAX is a provider of customer experience management
software for some of the largest wireless carriers. With PacketPortal, DAX
management software will be able to gather and analyze a wide range of data
from the network edge, on demand.

 

“PacketPortal allows our InTouch solution to
economically access subscriber quality of experience and network performance
information from the network edge, in real time,” said Frank Galuppo, CEO,
DAX Technologies.

 

NetSocket delivers immediate insight into cloud
networks, providing complete service visibility, ensuring higher session
quality and lower support costs.

With PacketPortal, NetSocket extends service visibility
to remote enterprise locations, providing optimized data capture with its smart
filtering capabilities.

 

PacketPortal is JDSU’s recently launched Smart
Network Application Platform (SNAP) that allows communications service
providers to more intelligently capture and analyze network data remotely to
provide the highest quality subscriber experience.

 

As an open platform, PacketPortal makes it easy to
integrate or develop new network, service and business applications.

 

“Through our partnerships with DAX and NetSocket,
JDSU creates new opportunities for wireless and enterprise service providers to
derive value from the unique data PacketPortal can provide from the edge of the
network,” said Doug Fantuzzi, vice president in JDSU’s Communications Test
and Measurement business segment.

 

JDSU will demonstrate the PacketPortal-enabled DAX
management software and NetSocket solution at key industry tradeshows such as
CTIA Wireless and the DISA (Defense Information Systems Agency) Customer
Partnership Conference and TM Forum Management World.

 

JDSU collaborates with Frontier to deliver broadband services
to rural communities in West Virginia

 

Recently, JDSU unveiled a new installment of a campaign
focused on its work with Frontier Communications to deliver
high-speed broadband communications services to rural communities throughout
West Virginia.
