Infineta Systems enters NetApp Alliance Partner Program

Telecom Lead America: Infineta Systems, a provider of WAN optimization solutions for Big Traffic workflows has
become a member of the NetApp Alliance Partner Program.

Under the new partnership, Infineta’s Data Mobility Switch
(DMS) will enable NetApp customers to speed up SnapMirror-based replication and
SnapVault-based backup/recovery workflows by up to 85 percent.

The integration of solution by both companies will reduce
WAN bandwidth usage and make use of cost-effective WAN alternatives for overall
OpEx reduction.

Furthermore, customers can protect their critical SnapMirror
and SnapVault traffic from the adverse impacts of WAN congestion and loss
through the special-purpose.

Infineta’s Data Mobility Switch offers highly tuned TCP
optimization feature that will enable customers to not only extend data
protection workflows to longer distances, but also make use of shared WANs,
e.g. MPLS and IP-VPN.

“We are excited to be working with NetApp to deliver a
reliable way for customers to drive five times more replication and backup
traffic over their existing WANs, and enable them to drive multi-Gigabit
storage traffic over shared WANs, such as for MPLS,” said Haseeb
Budhani, Chief Product Officer for Infineta Systems.

Infineta’s Data Mobility Switch (DMS) is the only WAN
optimization system that scales to multi-Gigabit speeds, making it the ideal
acceleration choice for next-generation data protection projects.
