Telecom Lead Team: Huawei Technologies has kicked off a roadshow in Dhaka,
capital of Bangladesh, to demonstrate the latest mobile broadband (MBB) and
fixed broadband(FBB) technologies.
The
road show, titled Smart Mobile Broadband for Transformation, showcases Huawei’s
SingleRAN solution and insights into MBB, MBB Access NEs, mobile backhauling,
mobile core and broadband devices.
Hasanul
Haq Inu, member of parliament and chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee
for Ministry of Post and Telecommunication, inaugurated the roadshow as the
chief guest. Chinese ambassador Zhang Xianyi attended the roadshow as special
guest, according to a report in ChinaDaily.
Huawei’s
SingleRAN solution allows operators to comprehensively maximize their core
assets, including sites, spectrum, users, staff and pipeline, by transforming
various technical modes into SingleRAN features, which help savings in Total
Cost of Owenship (TCO) and deployment time, protecting investment of operators
by providing a smooth technology evolution.
Despite
tough geographical environment and poor infrastructure in Bangladesh, Huawei
provides end-to-end solutions, such as wind, solar and hybrid power generators
to solve electricity problem in rural areas.
Huawei
also showcases its end-to-end fixed broadband product and solution in a demo
truck, including broadband cloud, intelligent video operation and maintenance
tool (iVideo), intelligent ODN (iODN), IPv6, unified communication, third
generation access router and FBB managed service to maximize FBB values.

in Bangladesh in 1998. Over the years, the company has grown to become one of
the country’s leading communications suppliers, providing comprehensive
services to all Bangladeshi telecom operators.
