Huawei taps telematics with 4G LTE-enabled Huawei ME909T

In a bid to tap the telematics market, telecom equipment vendor Huawei announced its 4G LTE-enabled Huawei ME909T mobile broadband (MBB) product that supports web surfing, data analysis and information transmission within vehicles.

Huawei is trying to tap the rapidly growing connected vehicles market. Enfodesk market research report says all vehicles will be installed with telematics by 2022.

Huawei ME909T, which will be available starting in March 2014, will address the quality standards of the Automotive Electronics Council Q100 and the TS 16949 Automotive Industry Quality Management Standard.

It is resilient in tough conditions including extreme temperatures and unstable power supply. The Huawei ME909T works perfectly within a moving environment, while its low standby consumption ensures long-lasting power.
