Ericsson received the Largest Telecom Equipment Manufacturer award at the 5th National Telecom Awards 2011 organized by CMAI Association of India, an apex non-profit trade association promoting growth in communications, manufacturing and trade sector.
The National Telecom Awards acknowledged the leaders of telecom and ICT industry. This award recognizes Ericsson leadership position in the Indian telecom infrastructure space.
Ericsson India produces state of art products like the multi-standard radio base station RBS6000, that is an energy efficient compact site solution supporting 2G – GSM/EDGE, 3G – WCDMA/HSPA and 4G TD-LTE all in a single package and the MSC Server Blade Cluster that drastically boosts the capacity of the network and evolves it into an IP network were considered for this award.
