Frontier Communications has selected Ericsson for the next-generation OSS (Operations Support System) architecture to improve customer experience.

The other benefits from the Ericsson unified OSS/BSS software suite will be the ability of Frontier Communications to capture new revenues and drive business efficiencies.

As per the OSS deal, Frontier Communications will deploy Ericsson Order Care and Ericsson Catalog Manager solutions, part of the Ericsson OSS/BSS Agility Suite, to upgrade components of its back office support systems in Texas, Florida, and California.

Steve Gable, chief technology officer of Frontier Communications, said: “Partnering with Ericsson for their OSS/BSS Agility Suite will help to improve our infrastructure, support subscriber growth, and reliable services.”
