Enhance Technology unveils unified NAS Storage solution


Enhance Technology, a data storage designer and
manufacturer, announced the launch of UltraShare NS Series Unified NAS storage
systems. UltraShare brings affordable enterprise-class features to SMB and
midmarket customers who need the flexibility, performance and scalability of a
simple yet robust data delivery architecture.


The UltraShare NS series offers simple management that is
ideal for use in distributed enterprise environments, branch or remote offices,
file sharing, data streaming, video surveillance, disk-based backup and cloud
storage applications.

the ability to leverage the best of both NAS and SAN technologies … all this

The UltraShare NAS offers dual mirrored Linux-based
embedded OS to guarantee system reliability. UltraShare NAS features device-to-device
data replication, one-to-one replication, volume encryption, snapshots,
high-availability clustering and multiple backup/restore functions such as
USB/Tape backup, remote share backup, file-level data duplication. It also
comes with a built-in UltraShareBackup client agent that can be used in the
cloud.


The UltraShare NS Series is expandable for up to 112x
disks and 336TB total raw capacity, delivering a robust platform with easy
storage expansion and minimal performance degradation.


The NS Series comes with 2U 8-drive (NS2080), 2U 12-drive
(NS2120), and 3U 16-drive (NS3160) form factors that combines file-level
storage (SMB/CIFS & NFS) with native block-level access options (NAS,
10GbE, iSCSI, Fibre) in one single storage platform to lower implementation and
management cost without compromising configuration options.


The UltraShare NAS takes advantage of SAN and NAS storage
with one interface to simplify storage management and reduce operating cost.
