Elitecore Technologies, a provider of Integrated Policy, Charging and Revenue Management solution, said its NetVertex PCRF on Cloud is available via Pay as you go model for telecom operators.
The NetVertex Policy Control Solution comes bundled with integrated NetVertex Policy analytics and on board EMS system.
According to an Infonetics survey published in January 2015, 13 percent of respondents are currently running policy management software as a virtual network function (VNF), 57 percent plan to do so by the end of 2016. 32 percent of operators plan to deploy policy via a cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform by the end of 2016.
Elitecore said NetVertex PCRF on Cloud addresses need of telecom operators with quick time to market, reduced cost and flexibility to launch monetization and personalization use cases. The solution is available preconfigured on cloud, enabling operators accelerate ready-to-use deployment timelines from 4-6 weeks to 1 day and reduces cost, time and effort for IOT and POC.
Criteria for choosing a policy management solution are reliability and performance scalability, said the Infonetics survey.
The survey said respondents cited Huawei as the top policy management vendor, while Ericsson in second, and Openet and Oracle tied for third position.
Elitecore said NetVertex PCRF on Cloud offers rule based auto scaling to meet CSP peak hour traffic, where by capacity is increased and up within minutes for the peak time only. This does away need for additional hardware procurement and database each time to increase capacity. It offers elasticity to increase performance and scale at a lower cost in minimal time.
“NetVertex PCRF on cloud will enable operators with highest level of flexibility needed to innovate in the next generation data services. The operators with legacy PCRF struggle hard to match their requirements and resort to costly proposition or they stay behind competition,” Dhaval Vora, VP Product Management at Elitecore Technologies.
Elitecore is offering NetVertex PCRF on cloud across 41+ point of presence connected to over 25+ data centers.
