Telecom Lead Team: CSG Systems International, a provider of
software- and services-based business support solutions that help clients
generate revenue and maximize customer relationships, announced global
expansion of its Content Direct offering to meet increasing demand for digital
content monetization solutions.
CSG’s Content Direct solution empowers content creators,
aggregators and distributors to easily and effectively market, monetize and
manage premium digital content and customers. Content Direct is offered as
either a set of software services or as an integrated solution.
Serving a majority of the top 100 global communications
service providers, CSG has 36 offices across 24 countries including locations
in Kuala Lumpur, Sao Paulo, Brisbane, Cape Town, Paris, Toronto, and Woking,
UK.
By leveraging this presence across a range of global
markets including Europe, Asia Pacific, and Latin America, CSG‘s Content Direct organization will further enhance its unique and
innovative direct-to-consumer, multi-device, digital content experiences for
communications service providers, major Hollywood studios, live event producers
and other content owners.
According to CSG, this expansion brings mature video
content monetization solutions, extensive knowledge of both the traditional and
digital content businesses, and the ability to deliver digital goods such as
games and books to direct-to-consumer digital content providers worldwide.
“We anticipated that 2012 would be an explosive year
for direct-to-consumer digital content,” said Jim Benz, vice president of
Business Development, for CSG’s Content Direct. “The market is validating
our prediction with significant demand for content storefronts, digital locker
technology, and robust commerce capabilities. As a result, we are deepening our
investment across the globe to stay ahead of this rapid growth in the market
for solutions like Content Direct,” Benz says.
