Comverse inks managed BSS OSS deal with JT Group

Comverse today announced its managed converged BSS OSS deal with JT Group, a telecom operator in Channel Islands.

In a statement, Comverse said its professionals in Jersey, UK and Centers of Excellence in Europe will implement a quality assurance process to maintain or improve service levels for JT Group.

As per the managed services deal involving its converged billing solution, Comverse will assist JT Group to optimize costs, better subscriber experience, accelerate speed-to-market for promotions and offers, and increase operational efficiency.

“When looking at a managed service provider, Comverse demonstrated the capability and a comprehensive service that ticked all the boxes for the support we need in order to deliver a superior service for our customers,” said Graeme Millar, CEO of JT.

As per the 5-year managed services contract, Comverse will provide application configuration management for Comverse ONE, its BSS solution; managed operations for Comverse ONE, for rating, billing, payments, collection, journaling; order, provision and faults management; testing for new services and configurations; operations and application development and infrastructure management, including inventory, capacity, security, back-up and restore.
