Comptel opens branch office in Riyadh, to strengthen presence in Middle East telecom market

Telecom Lead Middle East: BSS solutions provider Comptel has
opened its office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The new branch office in Riyadh is part of the company’s plans
to strengthen presence in the Middle East and Africa to achieve its goal of
getting closer to and building more collaborative relationships with new and
existing customers and partners.

Comptel recently expanded in the Middle East and Africa
(MEA) region with the opening of a new office in Egypt.

We believe the Saudi telecommunications market will
continue to grow because subscriber demand for data services is skyrocketing. As
such, more competition is being drawn to the region. This is requiring CSPs to
better understand their customers’ needs and more efficiently fulfill their
desires for targeted and innovative services. Comptel is ready to help CSPs
overcome this challenge and energize their businesses by fostering real-time
customer engagement,” said Juhani Hintikka, president and CEO, Comptel.

Comptel focuses on supporting telecom service providers throughout
Saudi Arabia with its Customer Engagement solutions and its implementation and
professional services.

The company is leveraging its expertise in event data
processing, advanced predictive analytics and real-time action-taking to
help operators deliver a continually high quality of experience. Telecom
operators can build value, customer loyalty and competitive differentiation,
generate revenue and upsell opportunities, and improve their business
performance.

Saudi Arabia is fast becoming a central hub for information
and communications technologies, and customers are proving to be early adopters
of new advanced services,” said Veqar Ul Islam, senior vice president, Middle
East & Africa, Comptel.

Comptel has reported net sales of EUR 77 million in 2011.
