CommunicAsia to be held on 19 to 22 June 2012 in Singapore

CommunicAsia will be held on 19 to 22 June 2012 in Singapore.

In 2011, the event attracted over 53,000 professional
attendees from more than 100 countries.

This year, 2,000 multinational and small and medium
companies will be presenting their products and services.

59 Indian companies participated in CommunicAsia 2011. Last
year, the total number of companies participated were over 1,300 from around
the world.

49 group delegations came to source from and network with
the large selection of exhibitors. Visitors were treated to a galore of global
innovations which debuted at the event such as Huawei’s MediaPad. Mobile
application developers, satellite companies and cloud services were also a
major hit with attendees.

This year, the Telecom Equipment & Services Export
Promotion Council (TEPC) – set up by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry
and Ministry of Communications & IT, Government of India to promote and
develop the export of telecom equipment and services, will be participating in
the event for the third consecutive time.

TEPC will be leading exhibitors such as Elitecore
Technologies, Indusnet Technologies, Matrix Comsec, Navigators Software, Nexge
Technologies, Space Telelink and more to pursue business opportunities outside
of India.

Other individual Indian exhibitors include Kavveri Telecom,
PPC India, S M Creative Electronics, and more.

“The show is relevant to the ICT market in South East Asia
and features current topics such as mobile broadband, mobile commerce and
innovations, next generation services, satellite communications, smartphones
& devices and many others. India is emerging as a hi-tech hub for
manufacturing of telecom equipment and CommunicAsia provides us an ideal
platform to display our technology as well as exchange knowledge with
international experts and witness latest trends,” said RK Pathak, secretary for
Telecom Equipment & Services Export Promotion Council.
