CMAI National Telecom Awards 2011 on May 17

The Communication Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) will conduct its National Telecom Awards 2011 on May 17 in New Delhi.

 

 

This year, the association is expecting to attract more senior decision makers in the industry and provide wonderful opportunity to interact and network with dignitaries and wider telecom community, said NK Goyal, chairman of CMAI, in a press release. 

 

 

The CMAI telecom award starts at 4.00 PM with Ghazals from PadamShri Penaj Masani, award distribution from 500-630 PM, followed by performance of Shibani Kashyap, Zenith Dance Group, Sangeet Haldipur with Attraction Dance Troupe. 

 

 

Sachin Pilot, minister of State for Communications and IT; Jyotiraditya Madhavrao Scindia, minister of State for Commerce and  Industries; JS Sarma, chairman, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India  will present the awards. 

 

 

K Rehman Khan, deputy speaker of Rajya Sabha; Vir Bhadra Singh, union minister for MSME; BK Handique, union minister for Development of North Eastern Region; Farooq Abdullah, union minister for New and Renewable Energy; SriKant Jena, minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilizers; Saugata Roy, minister of State for Urban Development; Vincent Pala, minister of State for Water resources are also likely to grace the event.
