Cisco Cius features SugarCRM solutions

SugarCRM,
a customer relationship management (CRM) company, announced support for Cisco
Cius, a business tablet that delivers one of the most portable, powerful,
reliable, and secure communications, computing and collaboration experience for
a device of its kind.

In
addition, SugarCRM for Cius is available for immediate download from Cisco AppHQ,
an application ecosystem built specifically for Cisco Cius that provides new
ways to create, manage and rapidly deploy mobile business applications in the
enterprise. Cisco AppHQ is a
secure user storefront that provides capabilities for end users and IT managers
not found in other application stores.

SugarCRM for Cius supports all of
the functionality found in the standard web user interface of Sugar 6 — CRM
Made Simple, the most intuitive, open and flexible CRM solution available
today. This includes a new charting engine, built on HTML5, which enables the
rich dashboards and visual reporting features of Sugar 6 to be more easily and
fully accessible via mobile interfaces.

“Mobile
is a powerful tool for today’s CRM users, enabling them to significantly
increase their customer responsiveness by having the data and information they
need while they’re on the go,” said
Clint Oram, CTO, SugarCRM.

“With
Sugar 6 — CRM Made Simple continuing its expansion across major mobile
platforms such as Cisco Cius, SugarCRM brings a competitive advantage to
businesses, providing them with greater choice and control over their CRM
deployments,” Oram added.

Thanks
to the rich interoperability of the Cius platform, SugarCRM for Cius also
supports seamless integration to other on-board applications, like Cisco Quad
and Cisco WebEx.
