CES 2012: Coby Electronics launches Android 4.0 OS internet tablets

consumer electronics, has introduced its collection of Internet tablets powered
with Android 4.0 OS at the International Consumer Electronics Show.


The new line-up is designed to give consumers a wide
variety of unique styles and sizes to choose from. Coby’s new line-up of
Android 4.0 models makes its national retail debut this quarter.


The extensive and affordably-priced tablet line further
underscores Coby’s commitment to giving our customers the best possible user
experience with access to the most in-demand digital entertainment through
accessible and innovative CE gear,” said Jodi Sally, vice president of
Marketing, Coby Electronics.


Headquartered in Lake Success, New York, Coby’s new
Android 4.0 range includes 7″ MID7042, 8″ MID8042,
9″ MID9042, 9.7″ MID9742, 10″ MID1042, and
10″ MID1045 tablet. All tablets are has access to thousands of apps
from the Android market.


Each tablet is powered with 1GHz Cortex A8 processor and
1GB of RAM for seamless multi-tasking. Also, tablets are equipped with
lightning-fast wireless downloading with 802.11 b/g/n.


9″ and 10″ models have 8GB built-in storage
whilst, 7″ and 8″ models have 4GB built-in storage. All tablets have
expandable storage memory up to 32GB.
