BroadSoft appoints Patrick Joggerst as VP Global Sales

Telecom Lead America: BroadSoft has appointed Patrick
Joggerst as Vice President of Global Sales.

In the last two decades, Joggerst has managed and scaled
sales organizations for both telecommunications service providers and
technology suppliers.

Most recently, Joggerst served as executive VP &
general manager, Carrier Services & Solutions SBU at Aricent Group, a
systems integration and software solutions provider. At Aricent, Joggerst
managed 2,200 professionals worldwide focused on bringing offers to service
providers and the companies that serve them.

“Patrick’s proven ability to scale high-performing
sales organizations and his deep understanding of the needs of
telecommunications service providers make him the ideal fit to lead BroadSoft’s
growth strategies in our current and new markets,” said Michael Tessler,
president and chief executive officer, BroadSoft.

Before working with Aricent Group, Joggerst served in
various global sales leadership and executive capacities at Auster Capital
Partners, NextPoint Networks (formerly NexTone), Telcordia Technologies,
PrimeCo, Global Crossing and AT&T.

“The opportunity to join a market leader and
innovator that has never lost focus on the customer is one that aligns directly
with my personal mission and values. With a proven global sales team already in
place, I am fully confident that we can quickly build on past success and
accelerate tangible results going forward,” Joggerst said.

BroadSoft also announced that Vice President of North
American Sales, Greg Callanan, recently left the company. With Callanan’s
departure, North America sales leadership will report to Joggerst.
