Bakery Group Unibake selects QlikView as global business discovery standard

QlikTech, a user-driven Business
Intelligence solution provider, announced that Lantmannen Unibake, a bakery
group, will deploy QlikView’s Business Discovery solution in 11
countries.

“For Lantmannen Unibake, our strategy is
all about simplicity and making data accessible to employees, which QlikView
makes possible and so well that it will now become a standardized Business Discovery
solution globally for us,” said Peter Sundan, head of Business Intelligence at
Lantmannen.

The ability to unlock information for
decision making and the unique consumer-like experience that Business Discovery
provides built on a scalable, flexible enterprise platform, were key in
Unibake’s decision to use QlikView.

QlikView is a strategic asset in Lantmannen
Unibake’s plans to create a cohesive enterprise.  With QlikView, complex
data from human resources, finance, sales and marketing, production and
logistics is turned into instant, flexible and understandable analysis.

With QlikView, Lantmannen Unibake is able
to discover and extract data from any of their systems. Speed and
usability is very important as well as the associative search to create
financial analysis without separately having to access the accounting systems.

“QlikView is user-friendly Business
Discovery software which enables enterprises to become better, faster and ahead
of its competition,” said Rebecca Braverman, senior director Global Market
Development – Consumer Products, Retail & Distribution at QlikTech.
