Axis inks distribution deal with ADI for Indian market

Telecom Lead India: Axis Communications, a provider of network video, has inked distribution agreement
with ADI to expand its distribution in India.

Axis’ relationship with ADI, a distributor in the security
space, will equip Indian customers with better access to Axis network
video products.

Speaking on the new association, Sudhindra Holla, country
manager for India at Axis Communications said that the company has placed
considerable emphasis on building our channel network in India, over the last
few years.

He added that the company is constantly growing partnerships
to meet evolving customer need across India as part of business strategy.

ADI has been associated with Axis globally since 1997. It
specializes in multi-category distribution of CCTV, IP CCTV, Fire, AV,
Intrusion and Home Systems, Scanning and Mobility products.

Axis and ADI together will provide IP Based Video
Surveillance Technology. Anil Mehra, Director of ADI India commented that
the agreement represents a major step forward for ADI’s investment in network
video.

Mehra said that Axis complements ADI’s range of network
video portfolio which also includes the leading software vendors.

Axis launches AXIS Camera Companion, an entry-level IP solution
for SMBs

A few months back, Axis Communications launched AXIS Camera
Companion (ACC), an entry-level IP video solution for small installations by
the SMB segment of the Indian market.
