Aviat Networks names Heinz Stumpe as senior VP and chief sales officer

provider Aviat Networks has named Heinz Stumpe as senior vice president and
chief sales officer of the company.

After stepping into new shoes, Stumpe will look after
global sales and professional services of Aviat Networks.

 

Earlier, Stumpe was serving the company as senior vice
president and chief operating officer and held a variety of roles including
vice president of strategic accounts, product line management and business
development.

 

Speaking on the appointment, Michael Pangia, president
and CEO, Aviat Networks said, “Heinz’s proven experience leading our
global operations will provide additional momentum for our sales organization.
His leadership and focus has contributed to significant improvements in
operational efficiency throughout the organization.”

 

Having more than 20 years of experience in wireless
transmission technology, Stumpe joined Aviat Networks as a director of
marketing in 1996.

 

Before joining Aviat, Stumpe served California Microwave
from 1992 to 1996 as vice president, product management and was director,
operations for Amstrad, plc, a UK-based computer and communications equipment
company.

 

Aviat Networks opens office in Dubai Media City

 

Recently, Aviat Networks opened its new office in Dubai
Media City.

 

The new office is expected to better support its wireless
customers and expand the microwave backhaul business in the Middle East and
take advantage of the thriving mobile and wireless market
