AOptix appoints new Vice President of Marketing and Communications

Telecom Lead America: AOptix, a technology innovation
company, has appointed Amanda North as the company’s Vice President of
Marketing and Communications.


Dean Senner, CEO of AOptix, said that Amanda is a
world-class marketing and communications leader.


The company reckons that Amanda possesses the acumen to
expand AOptix’s market presence and help drive growth.


Under this role at AOptix, Amanda will lead marketing
strategy, PR, branding, advertising, website design and development, channel
marketing and lead generation.


Additionally, Amanda will be working closely with product
marketing to ensure coordination of marketing activities across the company.


Speaking on her appointment, Amanda North said that she
is happy to join AOptix at this pivotal point in its evolution.


She added that AOptix has a long history of creativity
and innovation, and is solving technological and business challenges that no
one else can.


Prior to AOptix, Amanda served Splunk as VP of Corporate
Communications, where she helped the company prepare the company for its
successful IPO in 2012.


As VP of Corporate Marketing and New Ventures, Amanda
also prepared Calico Commerce to go public in 1999. Over her career, she has
worked with a range of fast growth companies in marketing leadership roles.


In her initial   her career Amanda ran the
Desktop Publishing Group for Apple. She also was responsible for sales in the
Central U.S. through one of Apple’s leading resellers.
