The telecom operator said Quikmile’s team will now be a part of Airtel X Labs – Airtel’s digital innovation factory, which focuses on IoT, Digital Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning.

Airtel X Labs is building digital capabilities to serve the emerging needs of Digital India and is scaling up its teams, said Harmeen Mehta, global CIO and director – Engineering, Bharti Airtel.

Airtel used Belong.co’s AI Talent Platform to discover, engage and close this acquisition.

Quikmile aims to use digital technology to transform India’s logistics sector and bring efficiency to fleet owners. This includes monitoring of fleet conditions such as engine behavior, tire conditions, mileage, etc. to remove transportation issues such as route planning, demand forecasting, analysing vehicular performance and achievement of targets.
