Aircel data revenue up 31% in North East

Telecom network operator Aircel today said its data revenue grew 31 percent and 3G user base rose 30 percent in the North East region in the first half of 2016.

Earlier, Aircel said it posted robust growth in data revenues in 2015-16. Aircel said its 3G unique user base has grown by significantly. Data has made significant contribution to Aircel’s gross revenue on month-on-month basis largely driven by rise in 3G users.

Aircel has also extended its ‘1GB for All’ data packs to North East. The 3G offerings will have pack at Rs 95, Rs 143 and Rs 175 with a validity of 28 days.
