Telecom service provider AG revenue shrinks 1.42% in India

Indian telecom regulator TRAI last week said telecoms operators’ average gross revenue dipped 1.42% to Rs 43,229 crore in Sept 2014.

On year-on-year basis, AGR rose 11.39 percent.

AGR of access services of top mobile service providers decreased 2.17 percent to Rs 33,669.47 crore in September 2014 from Rs 34,416.53 crore in July 2014.

Telecom service provider's adjusted gross revenue

The TRAI report said Bharti Airtel’s AGR fell 2.11 percent to Rs 9,862.74 crore in September 2014 quarter from July 2014, Vodafone dipped 1.83 percent to Rs 7260.54 crore, Idea Cellular increased 0.23 percent to Rs 5612.18 crore, BSNL enhanced 1.27 percent to Rs 3218.01 crore, Tata Docomo fell 3.12 percent to Rs 2365.58 crore and Reliance Communications 18.86 percent to Rs 1787.42 crore.
