Bharti Airtel sets up 1,000 3G towers in Odisha

Telecom network operator Bharti Airtel has set up 1,000 3G towers in the Odisha state in a record time of 45 days.

Airtel does not talk about specific investment in 3G networks.

Launched in Puri, Odisha, Bharti Airtel’s Platinum 3G will boost indoor coverage, enhance voice clarity, deliver faster internet speeds and offer a superior network experience.

“In line with our commitment towards making a digital Odisha a reality, we are pleased to share that in just over 45 days, we have scaled up Airtel Platinum 3G to 1,000 towers across Odisha,” said Ravindra Singh Negi – CEO, West Bengal & Odisha Telecom Circles, Bharti Airtel.

Bharti Airtel expanded Platinum 3G network to 38 towns including Puri, Kendujhar, Jagatsinghapur, Chhatrapur, Balugaon, Baripada, Gopalpur, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Jajapur, Kendrapara, Sundargarh, Nayagarh, Barbil, Joda and Jajpur.

Airtel 4G LTE services are already available in Odisha.
