Zhone Technologies announced its participation at 2011
FTTH Conference and Expo in Orlando, on September 28-30, 2011 and 2011
Broadband World Forum in Paris, France, on September 27-29, 2011.
As key industry players convene at each event, Zhone will
demonstrate its latest product and solution offerings and showcase its
industry-leading fiber network access solutions at its booths.
As bandwidth intensive applications explode, now is the
time to discuss the future of FTTx solutions, as well as the role deep fiber
and advanced copper networks will play in supporting economic development in
the U.S. and internationally,” said Brian Caskey, chief marketing officer of
Zhone.
As seen with Zhone’s recently announced MXK 194 and MXK
198 additions to its MXK product line, Zhone continues its fervent pursuit of
domestic and international FTTx deployments for globally diversified and
growing customer base.
As evident from Zhone’s fast-growing MXK product line,
its products and solutions are addressing unique and critical needs of
customers in residential, business and other deployments including hospitality,
educational and first responder communications.
At both FTTH Conference and Expo and BBWF, Zhone will
showcase its recently expanded broadband portfolio including the new MXK

industry-leading MXK chassis based MSAN, zNID GPON and Active Ethernet ONTs and
VDSL2/ADSL2+ CPEs.
Zhone
has deployed more than 2,000 of its fully redundant, carrier-grade all-IP MXK
MSAN and OLT platforms with more than 150 service providers in more than 40
countries. Featuring industry-leading density, scalability and switching
capacity, the MXK is the industry’s first terabit access concentrator and
provides non-blocking capacity of up to 3,600 100 Mbps GPON subscribers or 360
