Google and AT&T join top execs at NFC Payments USA Conference


NFC Insight announced that Google and AT&T have
confirmed that they will be joining a cast of high-level speakers at their
upcoming NFC Payments USA conference.


NFC Payments USA is being held on November 2-3 in Miami
and as the first NFC conference in North America, it will bring together every
must-have member of the NFC value chain.


With Google and AT&T’s recent confirmation we really
have collected the full set of unmissable speakers for this event” said Helen
Raff, general manager for NFC Insight.  


AT&T and Google will be joining Isis, Mastercard,
Rogers, U.S. Bank and many more key players, for the definitive forum to
discuss NFC Payments.


Marlo McGriff and Mark Andrews both product managers for
the Wallet at Google will be joining the event to speak on the commercial
rollout of NFC. Marlo will be sharing his insight on NFC beyond payment,
looking at couponing, loyalty and other applications to enhance NFC.

Mark will be bringing his knowledge to help tackle the
issue of reaching critical mass and how best to encourage the consumer to use
NFC payments. Joining Coupons Discover, TD Bank, Nokia and Living Social these
two panels are set to be lively debates that really get to the heart of how to
push payments forward.


Todd Wilson, business strategist for AT&T will be
joining the conference to share his knowledge on how best to educate the
consumer.


This announcement has brought the calibre of this

Commercial rollout for NFC payments in North America is
