Gilat Satellite Networks wins deal from Antamina

Gilat Satellite Networks announced its deal with Antamina, one of the largest copper/zinc mines in the world, for its e-learning project in the Municipality of San Marcos, a rural area near the Antamina mine in Peru.

Gilat Satellite Networks will deploy terrestrial and VSAT backhauling for connectivity and provide services to schools in San Marcos. The 4-year project will enable thousands of students and teachers to gain access to training and educational resources, as well as laptop computers and other connected devices, Gilat Satellite Networks said.
