Telecom Lead India: BBTV Channel 7, a broadcaster in Thailand, has selected TVUPack mobile cellular uplink solutions to expand its live broadcast capabilities.
TVU Networks, a provider of live mobile electronic newsgathering (ENG) solutions, says it was selected because of its portability, ease of use, flexibility and superior picture quality.
Following the deployment, BBTV Channel 7 benefitted immensely as the TVUPack solution has significantly expanded the broadcaster’s ability to deliver live video from more places.

Another advantage, according to TVUPack, is TVUPack’s ability to give field crews more flexibility to BBTV Channel 7. TVUPack enabled the channel to use its store and forward functionality.
In addition, reporters of BBTV Channel 7 could shoot and edit several packages in the field and use aggregated data connections to send finished stories back to server.
TVUPack has also provided BBTV Channel 7 with a cost-effective solution to cover news outside of Thailand.
