AT&T convinces antitrust regulators on DirecTV acquisition

American telecom operator AT&T has reportedly convinced the U.S. Justice Department to acquire DirecTV.

A New York Post report said that AT&T has reached a tentative deal with antitrust regulators to pave the way for it to buy DirecTV.

AT&T, the No. 2 U.S. wireless carrier, has agreed to unspecified conditions from the Justice Department for the deal, Reuters reported quoting NY.
