Globe Telecom has rolled out broadband – on FTTH — ranging from 50Mbps to 1Gbps at prices ranging from P2499 to P9499 per month in over 80 sites in the Philippines.
“As Globe continuously upgrades and expands its network capacities, the company is now better positioned to provide high-speed broadband plans to more users, which in turn allows us to offer these plans at more affordable rates,” said Dan Horan, Globe Senior Advisor for Consumer Business Group.

What are the cities covered? I reside in Marikina and what I know Globe is using the copper wire technology which entitle us up to speed of 3,000 mbps fantastic isn’t it hahaha just kidding, Actually I am subscriber of Globe before but when they abolish the unlimited data I switch to PLDT but mind you PLDT is worst they allow me to apply for a 5mbps and the application is granted, but when I try to test it the speed they can only served is up to 2 mbps, If Globe can serve fiber technology here in Marikina then I will switch back to Globe, I don’t mind paying whatever amount PLDT imposed as their termination fee, I am fed up with their services. Does 1gigabit offered by GLOBE is symmetrical?
