Altice in talks with Time Warner Cable for acquisition

French telecom group Altice SA is looking at acquiring Time Warner Cable, said a Reuters report.

Last month, Time Warner Cable and Comcast called off their merger due to lack of support from regulator FCC.

Time Warner Cable has also received interest from Charter Communications.

Altice is also looking at privately held Suddenlink.
