Airtel offers 100% more data for broadband users

airtel-broadband-and-technologyBharti Airtel announced up to 100 percent more data for its broadband users. Airtel has fixed line broadband presence in 87 cities across India.

The company is offering additional data benefits without increasing the monthly rental of its high speed broadband plans to both new and existing customers.

Airtel has made an investment of Rs 202 crore in its fixed line broadband business in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2017. Airtel generated Rs 678 crore revenue (+3 percent) in Q4 fiscal 2017.

Airtel has introduced V-Fiber broadband delivering superfast broadband speeds of up to 100 Mbps to homes. The V-Fiber high speed broadband experience is available to customers within the same plan rentals and requires only a quick modem switch.

Airtel said the Rs 899 plan in Delhi offers 60 GB high speed data compared to 30 GB earlier. Airtel said the Rs 1,099 plan will offer 90 GB of data compared to 50 GB earlier.
Airtel home servicesAirtel’s Rs 1299 plan offers 125 GB compared to 75 GB. For Rs 1,499 plan, Airtel broadband users can get 160 GB compared to 100 GB.

Our customers can add to their online experience with exciting speeds backed by unmatched service reliability,” said Hemanth Kumar Guruswamy, CEO – Homes, Bharti Airtel (India).

Bharti Airtel said existing broadband customers will be upgraded to the new benefits automatically within the current bill cycle.
