Jio launches new mobile plan offering 33% more data

Reliance Jio has launched a new plan, offering 33 percent more data than existing industry tariffs – targeting work from home (WFH) customers.
Jio chat for IndiaThe new plan costing Rs 2,399 per year provides 2 GB of data per day, with an effective price of Rs 200 per month. The plan comes with unlimited voice and SMS, and 365-day validity, Jio said in a statement on Friday.

Jio’s existing long-term plan is priced at Rs 2,121 that offers data of 1.5 GB per day and comes with 336-day validity.

The telecom operator also launched new top-up WFH plan of Rs 151 with 30 GB data, Rs 201 with 40 GB data and Rs 251 with 50 GB data.
