Telecom Lead India: Wipro Technologies has named Suchira
Iyer as chief marketing officer, IT Business.
She has succeeded Rajan Kohli, who has been appointed as
the vertical head for the banking business.
Suchira will report to TK Kurien, executive director and
CEO, IT Business, Wipro.
Suchira has a strong understanding of our clients,
services and markets. Her deep industry and market knowledge will add tremendous
value to the overall marketing strategy, led by a transformation agenda for our
clients,” said TK Kurien.
Suchira has been working with Wipro for 18 years, most
recently she was the country head for the Greater China region, having
integrated responsibility for Sales, Delivery and Operations for company’s
business in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. She has held various
leadership roles within the organization in the areas of Sales, Strategic
Alliances, Delivery, Quality, Operations, and Talent Acquisition.
New leadership at Wipro Technologies
Last year, Wipro Technologies announced the appointment
of Manish Dugar as senior vice president and global head of Wipro BPO and Jatin
Dalal as the new chief financial officer for the IT Business.
