Reliance Jio announces Dhan Dhana Dhan offer

Reliance Jio Digital LifeReliance Jio Infocomm, which earlier announced the withdrawal of Jio Summer Surprise offer, today announced Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan.

The Mukesh Ambani-promoted Reliance Jio Infocomm had earlier notified that it would stop its Summer Surprise offer shortly following the advice of Telecom Regulatory authority of India (TRAI).

Yesterday, Vodafone India wrote to TRAI requesting the telecom regulator to ask Jio to stop its Summer Surprise offer immediately. Several research agencies predicted that Jio’s free offers are negatively impacting the growth in revenue and profit of established telecom operators such as Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular, Vodafone, BSNL, among others.
