CenturyLink announced that it expanded the fiber-ready gigabit broadband to 14,000 multi-tenant units (MTUs) in more than 600 cities.

CenturyLink is offering its gigabit service to more than 100,000 small to large businesses in MTUs with symmetrical upload and download speeds, as well as Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and managed IT solutions.

“By offering fiber-ready services to MTUs in our local markets and offering speeds up to 1 gigabit, we can more connect our business customers to the power of the digital world and offer them affordable and scalable business solutions,” said Dean Douglas, president of sales and marketing at CenturyLink.

CenturyLink’s fiber-enabled gigabit Internet service is available in American cities such as Phoenix, Denver, Seattle, Albuquerque, Salt Lake City, Tucson, Colorado Springs, and Minneapolis / Saint Paul.

The company offers multiple wide-area network connections, including multiprotocol label switching virtual private network (MPLS-VPN), metro Ethernet and the latest software-defined wide area network (CenturyLink SD-WAN) solution – on fiber.

Business customers can visit CenturyLink’s fiber-based services to learn more about CenturyLink’s fiber-based services, including symmetrical speeds up to 1 Gbps, and to determine if service is available at their location.

The US-based technology company provides broadband, voice, video, data and managed services over a 250,000-route-mile U.S. fiber network and a 300,000-route-mile international transport network.
