Sprint names Vodafone veteran Robert Hackl as chief experience officer

Robert Hackl of Sprint
American telecom network operator Sprint has appointed Vodafone veteran Robert Hackl as its chief experience officer and president of National Sales.

Robert Hackl will succeed Bob Johnson, who resigned from Sprint as chief experience officer.

As chief experience officer of Sprint, Robert Hackl will be responsible for customer care, omni-channel operations, and the management and measurement of the Sprint Promoter Score. As president of National Sales, Robert Hackl will be responsible for direct and indirect sales, as well as telesales.

Robert Hackl will report to Sprint president and CEO Marcelo Claure.

At Vodafone Germany, Robert Hackl worked as commercial operations director for the past three years. He was instrumental in substantial increase in employee Net Promoter Scores, or eNPS, translating into strong results. He created a team that topped sales targets and improved customer NPS to become an industry leader in Germany.

Before Vodafone, Hackl was at T-Mobile in the United States from 2010 to 2013 – playing an integral role as the senior vice president of channel management in driving sales, efficiency and a turnaround in the overall customer experience and churn. Earlier, Robert Hackl also worked as group senior vice president at Deutsche Telekom Europe and CEO of TELE2 Austria.

Recently, Sprint announced four area presidents, who are leading the company’s ONE Sprint regional sales structure will report to Claure.
