Anite signs OSSii deal with Nokia Networks to access OSS

Wireless network testing technology vendor Anite today announced its partnership with Nokia Networks under the Operations Support Systems interoperability initiative (OSSii) for access to Nokia’s OSS interfaces.

Integration with Nokia product interfaces ensures that Anite’s Nemo products can analyze wireless network data in their operator customer LTE networks.

The objectives of OSSii include enabling easier interoperability between OSS systems, reducing OSS integration costs, and enabling shorter time-to-market. Ericsson, Huawei and Nokia are the initiating parties of OSSii.

“Our telecom operator customers will benefit from our co-operation with Nokia. Ensuring our analytics products Nemo Xynergy and Nemo WindCatcher can access and accurately analyze OSS data is imperative,” says Kai Ojala, CTO at Anite’s Network Testing Business.

Nemo Xynergy is a web-based enterprise-level platform for analyzing drive test, OSS call trace, small cell/DAS, and network management data. Nemo Xynergy consists of four separate modules: Drive Test, Small Cell, Network Management, and CEM.
